Fantasy Football Fortune, Week 6

I’m back to give you some more awesome fantasy football advice to get you through these tough bye weeks. Some pretty serious injuries in week 5 have changed the course of the season. However, as a fantasy football geek you know that this means there is opportunity on the waiver wire. Let me give you my top 3 pick ups off of the waiver wire for week 6.

- Alex Green in celebration mode

1. Green Bay RB- Alex Green: With the injury to Cedric Benson, Green stepped up in the middle of the game breaking off some good runs. He had great vision through the holes and used his quickness well. With Benson expected to be out 8 weeks, expect Green to produce consistent fantasy numbers for you.
2. Cleveland QB-Brandon Weeden: Nobody in the NFL throws the ball more than the Clevland Browns. I know, that sounds like an oxymoron but it is true. Weeden has eclipse 300 yards passing twice already with 9 total touchdowns-throwing to unreliable receivers. Weeden just gets it done every week.

3. Detroit RB- Jahvid Best: If you can wait one more week to start Best, this might be the best (no pun intended) investment you’ve ever made (except for purchasing one of our wine tasting tickets for Oct. 20th). Best is almost ready to go, he is nearing being cleared to play by the medical staff. When he gets back he will return to being as explosive as he was before he was injured.
